Tommy Lee Jones on a drink machine in Japan.
I don't know what this means...
Japanese people have a funny fascination with the Wild West. This is a bar we went into outside Yokota.
A view of a suburb of Tokyo from the train station.
A street across from the train station in Harijuku... later we went walking down it.
Me and Ryan Healy at the entrance to a park behind the train station.
Another view of the entrance.
This Japanese guy had a Tennessee jacket on!
Inside the park.
The sign above describes this.
In the middle of the park was a big temple complex. This is the outside.
This is the center of the temple. Inside, you give some money, then clap twice, say a prayer, clap three times, and bow. It's a ceremonial way of praying and giving an offering.
Amazing architecture.
Back to the streets... more crowded than in New York.
Going down an escalator to the trains...
Outside the train station.
They had big parking lots for bicycles the way we'd have parking for cars.
There's a plane displayed right outside the base... I don't know why.
Mt. Fuji! We flew right over on the way out.
We had an Obama bobblehead on the dash (from some other crew)... here's Mt. Fuji in the background.
Me with Mt. Fuji.
The coast of Indonesia.
Big city in Indonesia (Jakarta?).
The buildings just outside the airport were falling apart.
And there were abandoned deteriorating airplanes all along the fringes of the airfield.
Jakarta Airport
Me and Obama
We did some awesome snorkeling in Guam.
We also did some spearfishing... my first catch!
5 guys, 3 spears, 3 hours and one really nasty sunburn later... 6 tiny fish.
Monument in gold on a mountainside in U-Tapao
We had a 45 minute drive from the airport to the city where we stayed the night. The rural areas were pretty run down and dirty... it really made me appreciate what we have here in America. Most of the businesses in the rural areas had religious shrines like what you can barely see in the far right of this picture.
Entering the city.
They had 7-11's in Thailand! (And in Japan, too!)
The "beach" in U-Tapao. The water felt like nasty bathwater, it looked really dirty, and there was muck in all the little pools of water on the beach.
The streets were pretty crowded, and it was hot.
A better view of a shrine like what they had outside the city.
The beach had umbrellas and chairs set up, about 6 deep and shoulder-to-shoulder all the way down.
The view from my awesome hotel room.
Bali, Indonesia on the way back home.
More Bali.
Cool clouds.

Anderson AFB (Guam) on the way home.
